Logo Design and Brand Direction for Chester based church plant
Trinity Church Chester has a Gospel vision to become a bible-based congregation with future church planting ambitions. The church is looking to reach people, teach people and disciple people. Stylistically the church balances conception of tradition with its gospel teaching with a desire to speak with a contemporary voice.
A strong flexible logo mark inspired by the Chester “Black & White” buildings, paired with a stylish “chisel” flared san-serif word mark supporting the ambitions of the church and confirming its credibility.

The leadership and planting team of Trinity Chester were overwhelmingly positive about the design solution. Filled with inspiration and references from the architecture and geography of Chester city centre. From the patterns of the tudor-like black and white buildings to the sandstone of the city walls.
The main mark is supported by two sub-marks, creating a trinity of brand assets inspired by the Holy Trinity.
